What is "One Million Awake"?
The concept of One Million Awake might best be described by considering the following questions:
What if you could get 1,000,000 people to Wake up to Who They Are as Pure Consciousness,
free from mentally imposed limitations and belief systems??
What if you could get 1,000,000 people to Recognize that they are truly Spiritual Beingness,
Presence, and Love Itself?
and most importantly....
What might this idea of 1,000,000 Enlightened Beings do if it was spread widely across the planet???
So, what if we could get 1,000,000 people to fully wake up? Although it seems like a huge number, it is only a very small percentage of the world's population. Over 2,000,000 people read Eckhart Tolle's book, The Power of Now, and there are literally hundreds of other books, tapes, CDs, videos, seminars, satsangs, retreats, and teachers assisting people to directly recognize that their true nature is as Consciousness.
The time is definitely right for humanity to make a grand transformation in consciousness, to awaken from the illusion of separation and recognize that who they are is pure consciousness itself - not just intellectually believe it - but to actually and directly recognize it, concretely, powerfully, and truly...that they are Awareness, the Absolute, and that we only bind ourselves by our self-limiting conceptions and beliefs.
So, the purpose of 'One Million Awake' is to recognize, assist, and/or record the Wakefulness of one million beings. Will you be One of them?
Waking up is not as hard as you might think. Or, it's exactly as hard as you think. The Song of Ashtavakra says:
"If you consider yourself free, you're free, and if you consider yourself bound, you're bound. The saying, 'What you conceive, you achieve,' is a truism in this world."
And Ramana Maharshi said, "The only thing keeping you from being enlightened is the thought that you are not enlightened."
The Vision of One Million Awake
Our Vision is to threefold:
1. To document and identify (via email) 1,000,000 people who are willing to declare their Awakening or their commitment to Awakening,
2. To give permission to people to recognize and declare their recognition of Awakening, and
3. To unlimitedly expand the idea of 1,000,000 Enlightened Beings around the world...allowing this idea to sink deeply into Awareness, creating and expanding the possibility within the minds of everyone, the possibility, plausibility, and inevitability of an Enlightened civilization. To create a tipping point that will actually result in an Enlightened Humanity!
What Can I Do?
1. Go to our 'Count Me In' page and declare your commitment to the next stage of evolution by sending us an "I AM" or "I DO" email.
2. Recognize that we all abide in and as Awareness and Live as that Enlightened Presence. Share that understanding with others. Begin to change and eliminate the old paradigm of separation.
3. Spread this idea about One Million Awake - Share this website; Add a link to it wherever you can; Tell people you know, friends, colleagues, and people you think can make a difference!
